Inspired by nature’s enduring artistry, Lithic is a hard surface collection reflecting the beauty of a classic aesthetic. Building upon a foundation of stone visuals, the collection incorporates unexpected elements for a playful juxtaposition of traditional and modern form. It is designed to provide a synchronized flooring system, using pattern, texture and vibrant accents as coordinating components, allowing designers to think holistically across a space. Lithic can be used to make an impact, construct a story or provide a quiet backdrop, creating subtle or striking statements that can stand alone or together, effortlessly.
Available in 18” x 36” tiles, Lithic Hard Surface features three stone-inspired styles that can combine and coordinate in unique installations and layouts. The design is created using a digital printing technique for superior color range and realistic visuals, providing an extra-long pattern that allows for more unique planks.
These collections celebrate the earth’s resources and our connection to them, drawn in by the beauty of natural textures and the subtle color shifts in the delicate veining and character of each stone. The development was inspired by the designers’ trip to Milan where stone is in abundance, from important landmarks and grand entryways to common walkways and in luxury retail. Using stone as the foundation for the design, the modern twist came from featuring the visuals at exaggerated scales and in interesting colors. The biophilic nature of the hard surface styles bring a soothing, calming, and natural feel into a space to connect to the outdoors.
