01.2025
As we set out on another journey around the sun, the beginning of the year is an opportunity to reset and renew. In this cyclical process, a refreshed outlook sometimes means looking back to look ahead. For 2025, we see this as the year for biofeelia — design that connects the health and wellbeing of biophilic principles with the transformative impact of nature and personal experience within spaces for learning, healing, working, living.
What is biofeelia? /Going back to the basics with a subtle knowing of what is new. Reminiscent and retrospective — it is emotive, enveloping, soft and subdued. Blurring the lines between nature and now for spaces filled with the familiar. For moments that are mindful and musing. Comforting and crafted with care. Preserved by process. Drifting back to design forward.
Our TransFORM Studio designers Jourden Bixenman and Morgan Rosenbaum, along with Susan Smilek, director of product development for Patcraft, share their design outlooks for 2025.
To me, it's the way that nature creates this sentimental feeling in all of us — connecting to memories and experiences. I'm excited to see how this comes to life in space design, particularly in senior living environments. It's so important to have an understanding of how the space will be used and who will be using it as we design to evoke a sense of security and comfort, creating a sense of place."

I love how these textural elements and materials give the space a visual softness and a sense of ease and relaxation. I think healthcare spaces will see a lot of design influenced by this aesthetic, designing to promote health and wellbeing."
Morgan Rosenbaum / TransFORM Studio Interior Designer
I love how biofeelia conveys a sense of process that is defined by the care with which we create products. Our collection introductions will keep this intention top of mind—timeless, long-lasting products that celebrate the artistry of the many forms of surface design—created to connect space and experience."
